Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy

Return Policy

Exotica Orchid wants to ensure our customers have a hassle-free shopping experience, where they can make purchases confidently. Exotica Orchid has a comprehensive return policy which is tailored to protect our customers. The Exotica Orchid has two category of items we sell on our web store –

1. Orchid’s Needs :-

 These Products are manufactured goods or non-living goods and do not include any perishable goods such as plants. Orchid’s needs are the Products such as fertilizers, plant’s nutrition, potting media, pots and any garden / orchid accessories are defined as Orchid’s Needs.

 

Return Policy of Orchid Needs :-

       If any buyer received a damaged product or it does not match the description provided by Exotica Orchids, he /she can return it to us. But no claim regarding quality, quantity or description of the products supplied shall be accepted by us unless the buyer notifies us with details of any deficiencies within 1 day of receipt of the products by the Buyer. Also the customer has to send an image of the product by email in case he/she is claiming that the product is damaged or is not meeting the description.

         The product should be returned in its actual condition at the time of delivery.  The original item will be recalled then and the exchange will be shipped to you soon. But shipping cost of the first items / items will be paid by the buyers.

               Customer should return the damaged / mismatched items within 3 working days from the date of receipt. After successful receiving of the said item(s) we will initiate replacement or refund as per customer’s choice within 3-4 working days.  But replacement will be initiated depends on availability of same items. In case of unavailability of the items we will initiate refund of entire product cost excluding shipping cost.

  No return will be entertainment for advanced booking orders (either online or offline) once we arranged it. In such conditions 100% of advance payment will be forfeited.

2. Live Orchid Plants : This include the different types live orchid plants selling in our web store.

 

Return Policy of Live Orchid Plants :-

                   Live Orchid Plants are highly perishable, thus have limitations in providing replacements. Thus we do not offer any replacement or refund in normal circumstance. If the plant reaches you in damaged condition, you can return it to us, but no claim regarding quality, quantity or description of the products supplied shall be accepted by us unless the buyer notifies us with details of any deficiencies within 1 day of receipt of the products by the buyer. Also the customer has to send an image of the product by email in case he/she is claiming that the product is damaged or is not meeting the description.

           The buyer recognizes that plants may be degraded, damaged, or killed by heat, cold, lack of water, exposure to direct harsh sunlight or chemical, improper handling or careless transportation and recognizes that after delivery all these factors are beyond the company's control. No claim regarding quality, quantity or description of the plants supplied shall be accepted by us unless the buyer notifies us with details of any deficiencies within 1 day of receipt of the plants by the buyer.

           The plants should be returned in its actual condition at the time of delivery.  The plants will be recalled then and the exchange will be shipped to you soon. Shipping cost for returned items will be paid by the customer.

      No refund or return will be entertained for advance booking orders once we arrranged the said items.  100% of advance payment will be forfeited if any customer wants to cancel after arranging the plants.

       For International orders, no return is possible due to restrictions of Governement Rules / Documentaions.

NOTE: - Kindly note that there is no guarantee on color;  contrast; shape & forms of Primary Hybrids as they largely depends on dominating parents pollen. So before buying primary hybrids please check from internet as well as other sources from your own.

 

Refund Policy :-  

If any customer paid twice for one transaction, the one transaction amount will be refunded via same source within 7-10 working days.

Refund Policy for Lost Items :- If a shipment is lost during in transit, the maximum compensation will be Rs.2000/-  as per the rules of the courier company / as per the rules of Exotica Orchids. Or the lost items will be reshipped to the customer as compensation. But the buyer has to pay the shipping and packing charges once again. Courier, packing  & handling charges will not be refunded under any circumstances in the case of lost / damaged shipment due to the fault of logistic partner.

                  For, International Orders, refund is limited to Rs.2000/- or actual items cost whichever is lower through actual payment mode. In case of lost shipment, no refund of courier & packing charges  is admissible. But no refund is possible if our logistic partner confirms the final delivery and provide us the Proof of Delivery(POD).

Cancellation Policy : The order once placed by making a payment (online or offline both) can not be cancelled at any circumstances. Cancellation is only possible, if the entire / some of ordered items are not available with us. 

            No claim regarding cancellation, return & refund is admissible if our logistic partner confirms the final delivery and provide us Proof of Delivery(POD) for the same.
